Summer Wedding Time

Siempre se ha dicho que el verano es la estación del amor y de los mejores recuerdos. El buen tiempo, el sol, vacaciones e incluso la playa son sinónimos de felicidad.
Nuestras chicas y sus jugadores también aprovechan el calor veraniego ( y la pausa de la Bundesliga ) para convertir uno de esos días en su día.

Este verano ha presenciado muchas bodas por tierras alemanas y me gustaría compartir algunas con vosotros.

It is often said that summer is the season of love and of the best memories. Good weather, sun, holidays and even the beach are synonymous with happiness.
Our girls and their players also take advantage of the summer heat (and the break of the Bundesliga) to convert one of those days in their day.

This summer has seen many weddings by German lands and would like to share some with you.

Una de las bodas más esperadas e importantes ha sido la de Cathy Hummels ( Fischer ) (27) y el jugador del Borussia Dortmund, Mats Hummels (26).

Cathy eligió el vestido Ingrid de Pronovias Barcelona pero le hizo unos pequeños retoques y Mats se decidió por un traje beige con chaleco y acompañado por una faja y una pajarita amarillas, cortesía de Hugo Boss.

La lluvia que se dejó ver el 14 de Junio en München no impidió que la gran boda perdiera glamour. Tras una ceremonia íntima, acompañada por sus familiares y amigos, los recién casados se dirigieron, bajo un precioso paraguas blanco, hacia un escarabajo gris, dejando atrás a todos los invitados entre gritos de alegría. 

Esta boda se ha considerado una de las más elegantes de este verano.

One of the most expected and important wedding has been to Cathy Hummels ( Fischer ) (27) and Borussia Dortmund player, Mats Hummels (26).

Cathy chose Pronovias Barcelona's dress Ingrid but made him a minor tweaks and Mats chose a beige suit with a vest and accompanied with a sash, and a yellow bow, courtesy of Hugo Boss.

The rain that was seen on June 14 in München did not stop the big wedding lost glamour. After an intimate ceremony, accompanied by family and friends, the newlyweds went under a beautiful white umbrella, into a gray beetle, leaving the guests with shouts of joy.

This wedding is considered one of the most elegant in this summer.

Otra de las bodas más esperadas del verano ha sido la de Lisa Höwedes ( Wesseler ) (26) y el jugador del FC Schalke 04, Benedikt Höwedes (27), más por la historia que tiene detrás que por otra cosa. 

Tras 12 años de relación, la pareja dio el 'sí quiero' el 27 de Junio en Düsseldorf.

Fue una boda sin complicaciones y realmente íntima, con la familia y los amigos más cercanos. Lisa optó por una larga falda de tul en tonos neutros y un jersey de manga larga de los mismos tonos con unas cintas cruzadas al final. Clásica y romántica. Para mi opinión, perfecta.

Por otro lado, Benni, no se complicó demasiado. se decidió por un traje azul con pantalones de pesca y, como apunte curioso, no llevó calcetines.

Another of the most expected summer weddings has been to Lisa Höwedes ( Wesseler ) (26) and FC Schalke 04 player, Benedikt Höwedes (27), more for the history behind it than anything else.

After 12 years together, the couple gave the 'do want' on June 27 in Düsseldorf.

It was an uncomplicated and a really intimate wedding with family and close friends. Lisa opted for a long skirt of tulle in neutral tones and a long sweater with the same tones with a crossed strips at the end of the sweater. Classic and romantic. In my opinion, perfect.

On the other hand, Benni, wasn´t compicated. He decided by a blue suit with not so long pants and as curious note, he took no socks.

La privacidad que envuelve a esta pareja nos ha hecho sorprendernos al enterarnos de su boda.
Tras 7 años de relación y 2 años de paternidad ( padres de Leon Kroos ), se casaron en Junio en el Hotel Hoher Darsberg en Park des Anwesens rodeados por 30 agentes de seguridad que aseguraron toda privacidad.
Jessica Kroos ( Farber ) (27) llevó un vestido blanco con los hombros libres, sencillo y con la melena suelta y en bucles; y Toni Kroos ( jugador del Real Madrid, 25 ) se decantó por un traje de tres piezas de color azul.

The privacy that surrounds this couple has made us surprised to hear about their wedding.

After 7 years of relationship and two years of parenting (parents of Leon Kroos), they married in June at the Hotel Hoher Darsberg in Park des Anwesens surrounded by 30 security agents they assured all privacy.
Jessica Kroos ( Farber ) (27) wore a white dress with free shoulders, simply but beautiful and with loops on her hair; and Toni Kroos (Real Madrid, 25) opted for a blue three-piece suit.

Una de las primeras bodas que se celebraron fueron las de Lisa Weidenfeller ( Rossenbach ) (28) y el portero del Borussia Dortmund, Roman Weidenfeller (35) el 17 de Mayo en la Kapelle des Revierparks Wischlingen en la ciudad de Dortmund. Fue un evento íntimo de sólo 50 invitados. 
Lisa fue con un vestido blanco con detalles bordados de oro al estilo años 20 y con un recogido sencillo y decorado con una guirnalda de flores y Roman fue con un traje clásico y elegante, sin complicaciones.

One of the first weddings were those of  Lisa Weidenfeller ( Rossenbach ) (28) and Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper  Roman Weidenfeller (35) on May 17 in the Kapelle des Revierparks Wischlingen in the city of Dortmund. It was an intimate event of only 50 guests.

Lisa was in a white dress with gold embroidery details 20s style and a bun with a garland of flowers and Roman wore a classic and elegant suit without complications.

Después de una semana de despedida de novia, llegaron los tres días de ceremonia donde Julia Vigas (23) se casó con el jugador del FC Bayern München, Thiago Alcântara (24) en el Mas Mateu, una finca privada en Sant Climent de Peralta.
Con un vestido de Cristina Tamborero y un sencillo recogido, Julia deslumbró en su día más importante.

Hombre de la Semana || Man of the Week: Lukasz Piszczek

Lukasz Piszczek ( 1985, Polonia ), jugador del Borussia Dortmund y sensación siempre de la selección polaca, siempre ha conseguido llamar la atención ya sea en el campo o fuera de él. Casado con Ewa Piszczek y padre de una niña llamada Sara, siempre dedica su tiempo libre a su familia y a los suyos.

Lukasz Piszczek ( 1985, Poland ), Borussia Dortmund player and always sensation of the Polish national team, has always managed to attract attention either in the field or off it. Married with Ewa Piszczek and father of a girl called Sara, always has time for his family and his friends.

Su estilo no es complicado y es muy práctio para el día a día, a la vez de elegante y cómodo.

His style isn't complicated and practical for the day a day, also smart and comfortable.

Como bien he dicho anteriormente, Lukasz no se complica mucho a la hora de elegir outfit para ir a alguna entrevista o para apariciones televisivas. Camiseta básica y tejanos desgastados son, para él, la elección perfecta de formal - informal .

As we have said before, for Lukasz isn't complicated when he has to choose some outfit to go to an interview or to appear on TV. Basic t-shirt and washed jeans are, for him, the perfect formal - sport choice.

Cuando no hay responsabilidades, Piszczek viste más o menos igual, siempre con ese estilo propio que le caracteriza. Sin complicarse mucho siempre consigue ir muy bien vestido, algo que se puede lograr con un leve conocimiento de moda. Si el tiempo lo necesita, complementa su outfit con una chaqueta de cuero o de punto, según la ocasión, siempre teniendo en cuenta la combinación de colores.

When there are no responsibilities, Piszczek wears more or less the same, always with that same style that characterizes him. ¿Y qué podemos decir sobre los eventos oficiales? Pues Lukasz nos lo dice así de claro, dos opciones para una misma ocasión, pero eso sí, siempre acompañado por su guapísima mujer, Ewa Piszczek .
El traje siempre es la mejor opción para un hombre si ha de ir a un evento oficial. Siempre se pueden encontrar alternativas que marcan la diferencia, como por ejemplo, el no llevar corbata y llevar la camisa un poco abierta y acompañarlo con un pañuelo en el bolsillo de la americana o, simplemente, utilizar otros colores para el traje y deshacerse del siempre color negro. Dos opciones que, personalmente, son muy acertadas.

What can we say about the official events? Lukasz can say it very well, two options to a same occasion, but of course, always with his beautiful wife, Ewa Piszczek . 
The suit is always the best option for a man if he has to go to a formal event. You can always find alternatives that make a difference, such as not wearing a tie and wear the shirt slightly open and accompany it with a handkerchief in the jacket pocket or simply use other colors for the suit and get rid of always black color. Two options that personally, are spot on.

Hombre de la semana || Man of the week: Loris Karius

Loris Karius ( 1993, Alemania ), portero del FSV Mainz 05, con su 1,86 m, podría ser, perfectamente, modelo de cualquier marca que él quisiera. Con un cuerpo envidiable, rubio, ojos azules y con un gran futuro, este chico de tan sólo 21 años, es la perdición de muchas adolescentes ( y también no tan adolescentes ) fuera del campo y un incordio en el campo, ya que tiene una gran carrera futbolista por delante ( hablan de que será el próximo Manuel Neuer ).

Loris Karius ( 1993, Germany ), goalkeeper of FSV Mainz 05, with 1.86 m, could be, well, a model of any brand he wanted. With an enviable body, blond, blue eyes and a great future, this 21 years old guy, is the bane of many teenagers ( and not so young ) off the field and a nuisance in the field, he has a great footballer career ahead ( people talk about he will be the next Manuel Neuer ).

Algo que nos recuerda a Marco Reus ( a Loris Karius se le conoce como el 'Marco Reus' del FSV Mainz 05 ) por sus grandes similitudes.

Like any boy of his age, has grown being addicted to social networks, spends practically all day on Instagram ( Loris Karius's Instagram ), but he's also a tattoo lover: he has the both arms, chest and hips full of ink and it's possible that during the following months or years he will have more ink in his skin; and finally, as expected, is very interested and alert for the latest trends in fashion and beauty. Something that reminds us of Marco Reus ( Loris Karius is known as the 'Marco Reus' FSV Mainz 05 ) for their great similarities.

Gran amante de las gorras, muy adecuadas a su estilo urbano, no pierde una ocasión para llevar alguna. Dueño de un gran número de ellas, tiene de muchos tipos, estilos y colores, siendo, para él, una pieza imprescindible en su outfit de cada día, ya sea con la visera hacia atrás o hacia adelante, siempre intenta incluirla, de muy buena manera, en todo el conjunto.

Great lover of hats, well suited to his urban style, don't miss a chance to take some. También es un gran aficionado a los gorros de punto, muy prácticos en el invierno, ya que en Alemania los inviernos suelen ser bastante fríos y las gorras no son muy acertadas. Siempre con colores neutros, ya sea negro o gris, dándole un toque más personal a la hora de ponérselas. 

A parte de los gorros, también se le ha visto con alguna que otra boina o gorro con visera, y la verdad es que, a pesar de ser un accesorio pensado para gente más mayor, sabe sacarle mucho provecho.

Loris is also a big fan of knitted caps, very practical in the winter, because in Germany the winters are often quite cold and caps aren't very accurate. Always with neutral colors, either black or gray, giving it a more personal touch when wearing.

Besides caps, has also been seen with some other beret or cap with visor, and the truth is that, despite being an accessory designed for older people, know get a lot out.

Su estilo del día a día es muy sencillo. Gran admirador de las camisetas de manga corta, aun en invierno, siempre lleva una, a veces dos, pero siempre con la misma característica: siempre lisas o con muy poco estampado o detalles y, sobretodo, de colores neutros: negro, blanco, gris... Muchas básicas para no tener problema a la hora de vestir con ellas: ya sea con jeans en tonos tierra, pantalones rotos en tonos azulados o skinny negros. 

Y siempre con sus gorras, diferentes según la ocasión, y con Vans, posiblemente Adidas o Nike blancas, pero eso sí, siempre con deportivas buscando comodidad en todo momento.

Si estamos en temporadas más frías, entonces combina todo esto con alguna chaqueta de cuero, camisas estampadas o lisas o simplemente con un abrigo de plumas en la capucha.

His style of everyday is easy. A great admirer of short sleeved shirts, even in winter, always one, sometimes two, but always with the same characteristic: always smooth or with very little stamping or details and, above all, neutral colors: black, white, gray ... Podríamos decir que Karius tiene una perdición, y esas son las camisas, y si son de cuadros aún mejor ( es la única estampación que parece estarle permitida ). Las camisas siempre han sido un gran aliado en el armario de cualquiera y eso él lo sabe muy bien. Casi siempre, por no decir siempre, lleva una encima, sobretodo de color rojo ( que parece ser uno de sus colores favoritos ) y que combina de todas las formas posibles: como prenda principal, debajo de un sweater, como una chaqueta, etc.

La lleva tanto para el día a día o para salir por la noche, para hacer turismo o para ir de cena, pero eso sí, dependiendo de la ocasión la lleva de una forma u otra.

Como hemos mencionado antes, las camisetas básicas y las camisas no faltan en esta cita, aunque, en el caso de las camisas, cambia las estampadas por las lisas y por unos colores menos chillones, siempre combinado con jeans, ya sean del tipo que sean: más o menos skinny, rotos o sin detalles, pero siempre oscuros ( o al menos en su mayoría ).

Su único complemento básico y que no puede faltar es el reloj, el cual lleva siempre a todas partes, y más cuando hay una cita importante. Después se arregla su barba ( que desde que se la dejó crecer ha mejorado mucho ) y su peinado perfecto ( inspiración al cien por cien por su compañero del BVB como ya hablamos en dicho post ) y ya está listo para una larga noche.

Es sencillo, monocromático y a la vez muy elegante y atractivo, sabiendo guardar las formas y encajar a la perfección en el evento. Dejando su cabello algo más natural, dejando que le caiga algún que otro mechón rubio y con su barba perfecta, consigue un aspecto mucho más serio e incluso hace sumarle años, pero sin quitarle ese atractivo que tanto llama la atención. Un gran acierto y una gran puesta en escena.

One of the highlights bags from our WAGS are the stylish Céline. There are many models of the brand, as there are many WAGS to take ( although more than one has, at least a couple of them ).

Jenny Schmelzer se decanta por los modelos large y estampados lisos y básicos, por ejemplo, el modelo en tonos negros tiene, como detalle, un estampado muy suave que simula piel de serpiente, en cambio, el modelo en tonos naranjas es completamente liso salvo las dos ondas que adornan la mayoría de los bolsos de la marca parisina.

Lisa Müller es una gran amante de dichos bolsos aunque sólo posea dos de ellos, dos de los cuales sabe utilizar al 100%. A la izquierda podemos ver el bolso en tono naranja, el cual utiliza mucho para ir a ver a su marido ( Thomas Müller ) y sobretodo para el día a día, combinándolo siempre con un look muy informal y que consigue que el bolso se vea más deportivo y no tan clásico como se observa a la derecha, en la cual la encontramos con otro modelo mucho más clásico en tonos marrones que utiliza para las grandes ocasiones, aunque también se la ha visto con dicho bolso en el Allianz Arena, con unos simples tejanos y cazadora.
